IREM was a game maker that has now become a different company.
Established in 1997 as a subsidiary of EIZO Corporation, it focused on game production as its main business.
Initially, alongside game production, it also developed video software for pachinko machines. Primarily, it developed games for the PlayStation series and released various titles.
Around 2011, many staff members left, and the remaining staff established a new game company, Granzella. The rights to the games they had released were transferred to other companies.
