It was founded in 2011. Initially named Nordic Games, the same as its parent company, it was renamed to its current name, THQ Nordic, in 2016.
As a publisher, it operates on a large scale, with numerous subsidiaries and branches worldwide. It has expanded with subsidiaries and branches in the United States, Europe, Japan, and Asia, and also owns several game studios.
