I'MAX was a former game manufacturer.
The exact founding date is unknown, but it entered the game industry in 1990.
Its first release was the Game Boy exclusive “Dragon Tail,” followed by software primarily for NES, Game Boy, and arcade systems.
It also managed the “Imax Academy” for game creators and entered the arcade game industry around 1994.
However, it gradually scaled down its operations and filed for bankruptcy after its last software release in 1998.
It's impressive that they also operated a game creator academy!
