Hello everyone~!! These days, not just 3D but even 4D is becoming popular in movie theaters and such~! I'm Saori from Retro Video Game Republic, and I get dizzy from experiencing 3D for too long because my sense of balance is weak!

However! Even though my sense of balance is weak, I had this gaming console! I'd like to introduce this handheld gaming console that I've personally been using the LL version of for a long time!

What is Nintendo 3DS?

The Nintendo 3DS is a handheld gaming console developed by Nintendo Co., Ltd.

It was released in 2011 and, as the name suggests, it serves as the successor to the Nintendo DS.
It continues to feature the dual screens of the Nintendo DS, with the bottom screen having a touch panel, as well as a built-in microphone and camera.
The most significant feature of the Nintendo 3DS is its ability to display 3D graphics with the press of a single button.

This 3D effect can be enjoyed without glasses, and switching between 2D and 3D is very easy.
Though it was released as Nintendo's most expensive handheld console at the time, its sales were robust.

Later, larger versions like the Nintendo 3DS LL were released, offering a wide variety of options.
Until the de facto successor, the Nintendo Switch Lite, was released in 2019, the 3DS remained a beloved handheld console.

The era has quickly caught up to modern times, hasn't it?

That's true! The Nintendo 3DS is still at my home, right beside my desk. Come to think of it, I continued playing it until the Nintendo Switch came out. Popular titles were even releasing their latest editions on this Nintendo 3DS, so it's a familiar handheld gaming console for me!
