● What is INTEC?

INTEC is a large-scale system company in Japan.
Founded in 1964.
Initially established as “Toyama Computing Center Co., Ltd.” and renamed to the current “INTEC Corporation” in 1970.
Starting as an information processing company for local businesses, it gradually expanded and grew into a leading independent system integrator in Japan.
Concurrently with its main business, it was also involved in game distribution until around 1995, primarily releasing titles for PC Engine and Super Famicom.
Personally, it seems that many companies that developed games alongside their main business have ceased operations, but that wasn't the case with INTEC we're discussing today.
Yes, perhaps inversely, because they released fewer titles, they withdrew from game development and sales rather early.
