Winkysoft was a game developer that once existed. Founded in 1983.
Initially, they focused on developing software for PCs, but when the Super Famicom was released, they also started developing software for it.
The most famous software developed by Winkysoft is Super Robot Wars.
They developed and sold many pieces of software, but even after Winkysoft filed for bankruptcy in 2016, the rights to Super Robot Wars were transferred to another company and continued.
