What is Granzella?

Granzella is a Japanese game developer actively expanding overseas.
Established in 2011.
Granzella was founded primarily by development staff from Irem Software Engineering.
The name “Granzella” is taken from the revolutionary army featured in Irem Software's R-TYPE TACTICS II.
Initially, they developed distribution software for PlayStation Home.
headAround 2014, they split off their visual production and overseas game development/smartphone app production divisions into separate entities.
At the same time, they acquired the development and sales rights for the 'Disaster Report' series and have since been involved in releasing new titles.
Alongside console software, they are now actively developing smartphone apps.
