Teyon Japan is a rising star and a hidden gem in the gaming industry, continuously offering unique and exciting game titles. Let's take a closer look at its features and history!
Teyon was established in 2006 in Krakow, Poland. CEO Michal Tatka founded the company with his high school friends, choosing the name “Teyon” for its pleasant sound and the availability of the “.com” domain. The name “Teyon” not only had a unique ring but also evoked a sense of familiarity for gamers worldwide, particularly in the US and Japan.
Initially, Teyon focused on small-scale PC games, but in 2009, they entered the home console market with the Nintendo DSiWare title “Robot Rescue”. Their 2010 WiiWare release, “Heavy Fire: Special Operations”, was a huge hit and led to a series of games. This success spurred Teyon's growth.
In 2011, Teyon established its Japanese subsidiary, Teyon Japan, in Nishi-Shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo. This was to facilitate the smooth release of Teyon's titles in Japan. Later, responding to requests from developers and publishers in Europe and the US, Teyon Japan also began localizing games from other companies.
At the end of 2017, Teyon Japan released the Japanese version of “Human: Fall Flat”, which became a long-seller. This game topped the sales rankings for Nintendo Switch downloadable software in 2018, catapulting Teyon Japan to fame.
Teyon Japan is a game company that continues to challenge and evolve. Their diverse game titles continuously offer new experiences to players. It's exciting to see what new games they will create next. Be sure to check out Teyon Japan's works and experience their charm for yourself.
