The story begins quietly—and with a very “painful” scene.
The protagonist, Yuto Nonomura, loses his entire beloved family due to a tragic incident.
In the depths of that overwhelming grief, his only solace was painting imaginary worlds.
Then one day, a girl who looked exactly like one from his canvas appeared in the real world.
Her name, as if she had stepped out of a dream, is Ai Masumi.
Was their encounter a coincidence—or was it fate?
The setting is a small village called Tamasato, modeled after Hinohara Village and Seiseki-Sakuragaoka in Tokyo.
In that seemingly closed-off place, the story quietly begins to unfold.
“It’s like time has stopped in this village, isn’t it?”
Tamasato Village is, frankly, a place with nothing. But that very simplicity is comforting.
In a world untouched by convenience or noise—like flipping through the pages of a picture book—Yuto and Ai's bond gradually and surely deepens.
The characters’ delicate emotions and each small interaction quietly seep into the depths of your heart.
The preciousness of connecting with someone, and the difficulty of facing oneself.
And within that, a faintly mysterious feeling—the uncertain yet beautiful sensation that blurs the boundary between reality and fantasy—flows through.
“Beyond the dark tunnel, I saw just a little bit of light.”
This is no mere metaphor—it’s a symbol that runs through the entire work.
A boy standing at the brink of despair struggles to grasp that light.
Ai herself is that very light—and at the same time, a mirror forcing him to face reality.
In this story where kindness and sorrow intertwine, players will be deeply moved again and again, sometimes shedding tears—and at other times, gently smiling.
No matter how hurt someone may be, the moment they feel another’s warmth, they can take another step forward—
“Tsumi no Hikari Rendezvous” teaches us that quiet hope.
Within stillness lies the true story.
Let “Tsumi no Hikari Rendezvous” remind you of that—and experience it for yourself, in your own heart.
