[Horror × Time Loop] A highly anticipated horror game set for release in 2026!
The protagonist is reincarnated in a village wiped out by a gruesome past incident!
Repeat time travel, survive, and solve the mystery!
Pre-orders for Kigetsu no Yoru are now open!

“What if you were thrown into a desolate village in the early Showa era as a participant in a murder case?” This spine-chilling situation is the starting point for “Kigetsu no Yoru.” The protagonist, a modern high school student, gets caught up in a sudden mass murder incident, the “Thirty-Person Killing,” and is forced into a fate where every death sends them back to the same point in time. Everyone the protagonist meets harbors darkness in their heart, a vortex of suspicion poisons the entire village, and the shadow of murderous intent constantly lingers behind them—this inescapable tension compels the player into the heart of the story. Relying on information gained through death, the player must seek out the choice that will allow them to survive the next time. A single action changes fate, and intersecting motives reveal new facets. This “repeating horror” creates an immersion that makes it feel as if the player is personally in the middle of the incident.

With each time loop, it’s not just the complexity of human relationships that deepens. The old customs rooted in the village, the dark secrets everyone keeps silent about, and the twisted motives of the true culprit behind the inexplicable tragedy gradually start to emerge. There are moments when a person's true nature, which was hidden in the first playthrough, approaches with a completely different face in the next loop, vividly subverting the player's preconceptions. The structure, where death is not wasted but instead becomes a “weapon” leading to the truth, is the unique thrill of a loop-based suspense game. The isolated setting of the early Showa era, the inescapable small village, and the heavy, humid atmosphere further accentuate the story's unsettling nature.
The existence of the twins is indispensable when talking about this game. Historically regarded as ominous and shunned by the villagers, the two become increasingly dependent on each other the more they are rejected by their surroundings. The relationship between the twins, who were each other’s emotional support and sole confidant, begins to dramatically fracture following a certain incident. This instability eventually blurs the line between love and hatred, spreading to cast a gruesome shadow over the entire story. The distortions carried by the twins are closely linked to the village’s customs and the serial murder case, and the player watches their path of sorrow and madness with bated breath. The one who is full and the one who wanes—the story of these two contrasting individuals will leave a deep scar on the player's heart.
“Kigetsu no Yoru” is not just a scary horror game. It boasts a very high level of refinement as a “thought-based survival” experience, where the player must strategize to survive, accumulate information, and reach for the truth, even if it means succumbing to paranoia at times. The stifling atmosphere created by the setting of a desolate Showa-era village, the intersecting human desires and jealousies within a closed-off community, and the premonition of inescapable ruin...... the way these elements converge into a single cycle is nothing short of brilliant. Grasping a sliver of hope with your own hands, past the despair of experiencing death repeatedly—that sense of accomplishment is the greatest thrill of this game.
