As symbolized by the phrase “Resist 99% despair,” there is almost no time in this series where you can move forward with peace of mind. What was a “slightly intriguing title” when you started playing has the potential to transform a few hours later into a “work where you can't rest until you know what lies ahead.” Humans naturally want to know what lies beyond the darkness, even while feeling afraid. And this game possesses the power to swallow that curiosity along with the fear. Before you know it, the player themselves will find themselves chasing the truth while stepping into a world where the replay of nightmares awaits.
