【Suou Patra】Regain Patra’s lost memories!?
What if Suou Patra appeared right in front of you... Release confirmed for Kimiiro Patra IF, a romantic adventure game where you can experience such a wonderful “WHAT IF”!

”What if your favorite oshi appeared right in front of you?”—There are surely quite a few people who have imagined something like that. But what if that oshi didn’t remember anything about herself... what would you do? “Kimiiro Patra IF” is a romantic adventure game that begins from such a slightly mysterious and heart-pounding situation. Living together with Suou Patra who has lost her memories, this game has you search for clues to regain her lost past. Rather than just reading through the story, mechanisms are packed in so you can savor the feeling of ”spending the summer together with Patra,” such as Patra's personality changing based on the player’s choices and actions, walking around Akihabara, challenging a shooting game at an amusement arcade, and even enjoying ASMR at the end of the day. As the tagline ”A 'what if' story spun by you and Patra, who lost her memories—” indicates, what is depicted in this game is a special IF story different from reality that only you, the player, can step into. Now, what kind of Patra will you be able to meet in Akihabara this summer?
The story's protagonist is a university student struggling with job hunting. Having to think about his future, yet unable to find an answer as he hopes—carrying such a truly realistic concern, he meets a girl in nighttime Akihabara. And seeing that girl, the protagonist becomes astonished. Her appearance and voice are, no matter how you think about it, the exact VTuber ”Suou Patra” he stans. While you might want to think, ”No way, could that even happen?”, for the protagonist with the actual person in front of his eyes, it is no joke. However, the true shock begins here. ”Who is... Suou Patra?”—Yes, the Patra in front of him has lost her memories about herself. Just when he thought he miraculously met his oshi, he is placed in a situation where he is asked ”Who am I?” by that very oshi herself. Whether to be happy, worried, or confused, his emotions cannot keep up. Still, unable to leave her alone, the protagonist offers, ”Won't you let me help you out, Patra?”, and resolves to search together for clues to regain her memories. Thus begins their living together under one roof with Patra, set in summer Akihabara.
The setting of the story is midsummer Akihabara. You will stroll with Patra through this town where diverse cultures such as games, anime, and electronic devices gather, searching for clues to regain her memories. The feature handling that role is the MAP selection. You head out into the city enthusiastic, thinking ”Alright, let's seriously look for memory clues today!”, yet while browsing shops, it feels like it might turn into an atmosphere of ”Huh? Isn't this just normally enjoying otaku activities?”—which is also very typical of this title. However, this time that seems like a detour might actually be an important day for building a relationship with Patra. Since depending on where you go and what you do there, changes may also occur in her personality, walking through the city itself connects to both the game system and the story. While having the purpose of searching for memories, new memories unique to the two of them increase in that process—the structure where, despite searching for a lost past, new memories stack up, is very impressive.
Furthermore, this title even prepares a fun detour where ”you were supposed to be playing a romantic adventure, but before you knew it, you were playing a shooting game.” At the amusement arcade, you can challenge a shooting game fully supervised by Suou Patra. Thinking ”It's just a little minigame, right?”, what wafts out instead is an aura that somehow seems far from straightforward. Including flavors that make you want to call out, ”Isn't this... feeling like a kusoge!?”, you can feel a playful spirit that doesn't end it as a mere bonus. Enjoying the story in the novel part, thinking of destinations from the MAP, and next, shooting at the arcade—this change in tempo serves as a good accent, creating a structure that does not rely solely on its interest as reading material. Moreover, seeing the words ”fully supervised,” fans surely cannot help but wonder, ”Just what did she supervise to result in what kind of game...?” The way such playfulness naturally slips into a story of romance, living together, and searching for memories is also a characteristic of ”Kimiiro Patra IF.”
After walking around Akihabara and experiencing various events, the day eventually comes to an end. However, in ”Kimiiro Patra IF,” it doesn't simply fade to black with a ”Good night” and move to the next morning... At the end of the day, an ASMR part spent in the same bed with Patra awaits. What becomes important here is her personality, which changes depending on your prior actions. If her personality is different, there are changes in the expressions she shows you, and furthermore, if the distance between the two of you closes, there is also the possibility of developments where you touch each other. The two who spent time lively in Akihabara during the daytime suddenly face each other at a close distance when night falls—this gap is quite intense. Because the feeling of looking back like ”What kind of day was today?” and the expectation of ”What kind of side will Patra show tonight?” arise simultaneously, the point where ASMR doesn't exist in isolation, but plays a role like a reward that concludes the day's experience, is an interesting aspect.
And thinking about the story, a slightly bittersweet yet warm theme is hidden in this title. The ”Suou Patra” that the protagonist knows, and the ”Patra” in front of his eyes who has lost her memories. To the protagonist, she has been his ”oshi” from the start, but from Patra's perspective, the protagonist is a single young man who helped her when she lost her memories. Precisely because of this difference in perception, a unique charm is born in their life together. The protagonist knows. But she doesn't know. In that case, is regaining the former Patra the only correct answer? Or is the new Patra born from the time spent together as two also an important presence? Considering the game system where, while searching for memories is the goal, the player themselves brings changes to her along the way, it also comes to look as though a ”story of regaining the past” and a ”story of building a new relationship from now on” are progressing simultaneously. Isn't this dual structure precisely the intrigue of this work, which does not end merely as a dream situation of ”cohabitation with your oshi”?
If you were to summarize the appeal of ”Kimiiro Patra IF” in one sentence, it would be ”A special summer with Patra born from your choices.” Starting from a sudden encounter with her who lost her memories, living under one roof, walking together through summer Akihabara, playing at the arcade, and feeling her right nearby at night. And through the actions chosen in that process, changes are born within Patra herself in front of your eyes. That is precisely why what is depicted in this work is not an identical ”story with Suou Patra” for everyone. How the player interacted, where they went, and what kind of time they spent. Through that accumulation, your very own ”what if” takes shape. What is waiting beyond the lost memories? And when summer ends, what kind of relationship will the protagonist and Patra have?—”Kimiiro Patra IF,” combining a dreamlike beginning of ”if your oshi appeared before your eyes,” with the mystery of memory loss, personality changes through choices, Akihabara strolling, shooting, and even ASMR. Rather than just watching Patra, wanting to spend time with her and create a story with your own hands. People like that might be deeply drawn into this ”what if story” all the more.
