What is TAITO?

TAITO is a long-established game company that originated in the 1950s.
Established in 1953, it was originally founded as “Taito Trading,” specializing in the import and sale of jukeboxes. TAITO also has the distinction of brewing and selling Japan's first vodka (branded “Troika”) and manufacturing and selling peanut vendors.
In 1960, it opened a directly managed game center in Osaka and developed crane games in 1965.
In 1972, the company changed its name to the current TAITO. After developing and releasing several game softwares, it launched the legendary shooting game “Space Invaders” in 1978.
Subsequently, in 2005, TAITO was acquired by Square Enix, evolving into its current form. With numerous incredible achievements in various games, TAITO has also developed communication karaoke, leaving a significant mark on Japan's history.
Incredible achievements indeed. Developing Invaders, establishing numerous game centers nationwide, inventing karaoke, and on top of that, developing game software too!?
The most amazing thing is that these great accomplishments are still ongoing...... But I really can't picture them developing game software, so I'm curious about what kind of software they released!
