The GAME BOY ADVANCE is a handheld gaming console released by Nintendo Co., Ltd.

Launched in Japan in 2001, it was the first entirely new handheld console from Nintendo Co., Ltd. in about 12 years, following the original GAME BOY released in 1989.
It featured significant improvements over its predecessor, the Game Boy Color, in terms of screen size, graphics, and audio output. It was also backward compatible with Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. Later on, the GAME BOY ADVANCE SP was released, which was even more portable with its clamshell design.

By the way, up until this period, dedicated cables were used for communication, as online interaction was not yet possible. It's a fond memory.
