Axela was a game maker that once existed.
Established in 1996.
It is said that the company was founded due to a split within the rapidly growing game maker ASCII.
Its main business was publishing magazines.
Not only horse racing magazines, but later also ventured into game magazines and game software sales, entering the gaming industry around 1997.
The magazines were not aimed at a core audience but were widely targeted towards casual users.
