KANEKO is a Japanese IT company that used to develop game software and arcade machines.

Established in 1980.
Initially, they developed, manufactured, sold, and exported/imported electronic devices and home medical equipment.
As their business expanded, they also started developing games as a subcontractor for other game companies.

In 1990, they established their own brand “KANEKO” and started developing and releasing arcade and home console games, but they haven't released any new titles since 2000.

Currently, the founding members have retired, and it is unclear what activities they are engaged in now.
