●What is GungHo Works?

GungHo Works was a game manufacturer that existed in the past.

Founded in 2007.

It was established as a subsidiary of GungHo Online Entertainment, which is currently releasing smartphone game apps in Japan.

The company took over the consumer game business and video software development from its affiliated company Interchannel-Holon.

Alongside these businesses, they also engaged in game software development.

However, after GungHo Online Entertainment reorganized its business for smoother operations, GungHo Works disbanded in 2009.

Currently, it continues to operate as part of GungHo Online Entertainment.

Speaking of GungHo, they're very well-known in Japan as the company that releases and operates the smartphone game app Puzzle & Dragons.
