SUNRISE INTERACTIVE was a game developer that once existed.
Established in 1998.
It was founded as a subsidiary of SUNRISE, one of Japan's leading animation studios. The CEO was also a producer at SUNRISE, ensuring a nearly perfect collaboration system.
Being a subsidiary of SUNRISE, it mainly developed and released video games based on SUNRISE's anime works for PlayStation and computers. This included Gundam series, Future GPX Cyber Formula, My-HiME, and other so-called festival games that featured multiple mechs from SUNRISE's anime.
It was dissolved in August 2008. After the dissolution, some members moved to a company called Sazanami, continuing game development.
