What is Hudson?

Hudson is a long-established game maker that is currently not active as a manufacturer.
Founded in 1973, after developing computer software and hardware, they entered the home gaming industry when the Family Computer became popular.
Around 2001, Konami became Hudson's largest shareholder, and by 2005 they became a subsidiary. In 2012, they were absorbed into Konami and became one of Konami's brands.
Although the Hudson brand name has disappeared, popular series like “Bomberman” and “Momotaro Electric Railway” that Hudson created are still releasing new entries even over 10 years after Hudson’s name vanished.
What!? Hudson doesn't exist anymore!?
I didn't know either...... Because their representative works like “Bomberman” and “Momotaro Electric Railway” are still being continuously released, I thought they were still operating as a normal company.
