Hello everyone! Today, although currently inactive, I want to introduce a game developer who released many titles for the Famicom and others. I'm Boss from Retro Video Game Republic.

Hello everyone! It seems they released numerous titles for older gaming consoles. I wonder what kind of company it was? I'm Saori from Retro Video Game Republic, looking forward to learning more!

They've changed their company name several times, so it seems they released games under names other than JALECO. For now, let's introduce the software released under the JALECO name!

What is JALECO?

JALECO was a game developer that once existed.
Founded in 1974, it was originally known as Japan Leisure Co., Ltd., primarily focused on the wholesale of arcade games. Later, they began developing software for home gaming consoles, creating numerous titles for the Famicom, PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and others.
The company was renamed JALECO in 2004 following a change in the company name. Despite various business changes and acquisitions, operations ceased around 2013, and the company has since become incommunicado.

Hmm, so there has been no activity for about 10 years, right?

That's right. But the software they released still exists, so let's quickly check what kind of titles were released in their software lineup!
